Dr James Headley is a Senior Lecturer in Politics at the University of Otago, New Zealand. He has published academic articles and book chapters on Russia- EU relations, and nationalism in the former Soviet Union and Yugoslavia. He is the author of Russia and the Balkans: Foreign Policy from Yeltsin to Putin (Hurst and Co./Columbia University Press, 2008).
