THE THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK OF BIG DATA

In fact, no clear definition of big data can be given, as it is a complex, polymorphic term, whose definition differs between the communities you are interested in as a user or sendee distributor, etc. It is called big data, massive data, and megadata.

15.2.1 THE CONCEPT OF BIG DATA

Big data is defined as the balances of information that are large in size, speed, and diversity that require iimovative and effective forms of processing that are different from normal data processing so that their users can improve visibility [1], decision making, and automation.

Data, etc., cannot be efficiently processed using existing and traditional technology to benefit from them. In addition, versatile compared to types of commonly used data sets [2]. According to the previous definitions, big data can be defined as a set of new mechanisms used to analyze and draw conclusions of value in the analysis.

15.2.2 CHARACTERISTICS OF BIG DATA

In order to talk about big data, it must provide four characteristics mentioned in the following [3]:

  • • Volume: Refers to the amount of data that grows day by day at a very rapid pace, the volume of data generated by humans and machines, and then interaction on social media.
  • • Velocity: Speed is defined as the frequency at which different sources generate data eveiy day.
  • • Variety: Since there are many sources that contribute to big data, the type of data it generates is different, and it can be regular and irregular, and therefore there is a variety of data from the data generated eveiy day.
  • • Value: After discussing all the characteristics above, there is one to be taken into account when looking at big data, which is the value, everything is good in accessing the data, but unless we can convert it to a value, there is no use.
  • 15.2.3 THE BENEFITS OF USING BIG DATA

The benefits of big data analysis in an organization of any kind he in the following points [1]: [1]

  • • Enabling stakeholders to find solutions to potential problems encountered in the analysis of big data in certain processes;
  • • Increased opportunity for clear and conect decisions.

  • [1] Identifying the faults and weaknesses and improving operations in allfinancial units and management; • Making better decisions based on information generated by big dataanalysis for all financial and administrative units; • discovering untapped opportunities and potential weaknesses in allactions;
